What this access is

Access to the maintainer’s hosted instance, at app.eventslide.fr. It is the same software you could install at home.

  • Free

There is nothing to pay. Donations are planned, not open yet: a donation will buy nothing, the service is the same for everyone.

  • By invitation

There is no open sign-up: you write to us, and we reply. If access is granted, we tell you how to sign in.

  • No contract, no guarantee

It is a favour from a volunteer: no contract, no availability guarantee. Ask early, and keep in mind that the wall also depends on the venue’s internet connection.

Who it is for

For anyone who wants a live photo wall without being able, or wanting, to host the software themselves. For example:

What to write

No need for a long message. Three things are enough:

  1. The date of the event

so we know when access has to be ready.

  2. The type of event

    wedding, birthday, seminar, association…

  3. The number of guests, roughly

ten, fifty or two hundred: an order of magnitude is enough.

Request for access to EventSlide

Hello,

I am planning a birthday party on 20 June, with about sixty guests.

Could you give me access?

Thank you!

What happens next

  1. You write

Your message lands in the project’s contact inbox. This site has no form and no server that reads it.

  2. We reply

Reply time: [À COMPLÉTER : délai de réponse]

  3. You prepare your evening

If access is granted, you can sign in. You create your event (a name is enough), print the QR code and put it on the tables.

Would you rather depend on nobody?

Comfortable with servers? EventSlide is free software: you can install it on your own machine, and your photos never leave it.
